Fun Sunday, Scary Monday.

Last Sunday we picked up our newest member of the Alcorn family. Her name is Izzy and she is so cute. She is only 8 weeks old and I just love her spunk and curiosity. Her favorite toy is a toy monkey my sister gave and she is going to be mad at me later because she gets to meet her doctor and receive her shots. She is so hyper and I wish I can take her outside to play so she can burn off some of that energy. I love her so much and soon she will be going to puppy school for puppy training.

Now on Monday I was a little scared because I kept getting the sharp back pain that would come and go over a couple of hours. I called the labor and delivery unit at my hospital and they gave me some of advice on ways to relieve the pain and a short time later it was gone. Well on Wednesday I started getting the same pain only it was on the lower part of my stomach. I talked to the ward again and also my mom because I was freaking out and they believe it was my muscles stretching because the baby is growing. Of course the hospital said that if it continues to come in and get checked out. But once again the pain went away and I am forced to take it easy and not push myself like I do when I was not pregnant. This is really hard for me at this time because I feel my energy coming back but still need to take things SLOW!!
Oh well I have a little one to think of first.

Welcome

Hello, well to catch people up to speed that can not check my myspace account. I am 4 months along in my pregnancy, Jeff and I are happy about our little surprise and so far it has been a healthy pregnancy. Yes, I am showing even though most people think I am not. . . those people make me laugh. No, Jeff and I are not going to find if the baby is a boy or a girl until it is born, sorry to all those who want to know now. I am due around April 21st of 2008. I will put up the ultra-sound as soon as possible and some belly growth shots as well. I have gain 10 pounds since the beginning of the pregnancy and last checked the bump from the belly button to the pubic bone is 16cm (a healthy size). I do not have morning sickness any more but I do get tired here and there and need a good nap every now and then. That is the pregnancy in a nut shell (HAHA! Nut . . . Alcorn. . . anyways) if you have any questions or comments, please let me know. I love to hear from everyone and will keep posting as much as possible. Love you all.
